The Lowly In-Market Banner.
We call 'em In-Market because they generally run on sites where people are searching for a new or used vehicle. Those people are said to be "in-market." We build several standard sizes with varying messages based on a vehicle's attributes. Like the 728x90 flash example at the top of this page and the 300x250 example here. I really like this onebecause I actually built the whole thing. One of the rare opportunities I had to flex my flash skills..
When I call it the lowly in-market banner I say that with my tongue stuffed squarely in my cheek. I firmly believe that these banner executions are just as valuable as any homepage takeover.
